How does call tracking work?
Each ad gets its own phone number. When someone calls it, the call is checked, connected to the right place, recorded, and logged with where it came from.
Step by step
- 1. The number. Each ad gets its own phone number. On your website, the number can change to match the ad the visitor clicked.
- 2. The call comes in. In Kurrent, each phone number has its own rules, like how many calls it can take at once and where calls should go.
- 3. The checks. Kurrent blocks numbers you have banned and screens out junk and fake calls. If you sell calls, Kurrent can ask the buyer first if they want this one.
- 4. The call is connected. It can ring a phone, your call center, or an AI agent that answers for you. Every call is recorded and saved in your own storage.
- 5. The record. Every call is logged with where it came from and how it ended, and the details can go to your other software the moment it happens.
What it costs
It all runs on your own phone company account, at their price. If you spend $1,795 a month or more on call tracking, Kurrent costs half of what you pay for the software today.
Questions
- How does call tracking work?
- Each ad gets its own phone number. When it rings, you know which ad brought the call, and the call is checked, connected, recorded and logged.
- How does a website show a different number for each ad?
- A small piece of code on your site swaps the phone number to match the ad the visitor clicked, so their call can be traced back to that ad.
- Can call tracking send calls to buyers?
- Yes. If you sell calls, Kurrent can ask the buyer first if they want the call, then connect it.
