Komms · Answer

AI voice agents. Eight cents a minute.

Build the agent as a flow of questions. Wire each answer to the next step. Then let it work the phones. The same script can run as a web chat widget. It costs $0.08 per talk minute — see how that prices out compared to Retell, Bland and Vapi.

Call it yourself.

Pick up your phone and talk to the agent. It is the same one that answers for customers. There is no sandbox and no script to follow.

Watch the script build itself

Left, a sample call. Right, the builder filling in. These are the real node shapes of a live campaign. One node per agent turn. Each has a typed answer: a spelled name, a yes or no, a number that routes by range. Each answer writes a variable. DQ gates decide if the call goes on. A transfer is an outcome, not a dead end.

What it does

Visual script builder

Each node is one question, with its own goal and sample phrasings. Typed answers pick the next step: yes or no, numbers, ranges, dates, or a choice from a list.

Reusable sub-workflows

Build a stage once, such as authorization, callback or DNC. Then call it from any script. It exists in one place, however many scripts use it.

Inbound & outbound

The campaign type sets the call direction. Attach or buy a number for each one. Each has its own agent name, company and time zone.

Human transfer

Hand off to a set number, or to one picked during the call. Send it blind or announced. Ask for a key press to accept. Try 1 to 10 times, with a 5 to 120 second timeout.

Web chat, same script

An SDK key turns the same agent into a chat widget. It drops into React, Next.js or plain HTML. It only runs on the sites you allow.

Event webhooks

Subscribe to the events you care about: Answer, End call, No answer, Reschedule, DNC, DNQ, Qualified, Transferred and Transfer busy. Map each field to your own keys.

API tools mid-call

API and script tools run between turns. Call your CRM, an eligibility check or any endpoint. Then route the call on what comes back.

Knowledge-base Q&A

Load your docs. The agent answers caller questions from them mid-script. Then it picks up right where it left off.

Global paths built in

Every turn is checked for intent. Asks for a human, holds, reschedules, DNC, abuse and stuck loops are all handled. You do not build a branch for each one.

Questions

What is Komms?
Komms is an AI voice agent you build as a flow of questions. Each node is one turn with a typed answer, a yes or no, a number, a date or a choice, and each answer routes to the next step. The same script runs inbound, outbound and as a web chat widget on your site.
How much does Komms cost?
$0.08 per talk minute, with the model, a standard voice, transcripts, webhooks and the API included. There is no platform fee and no per-agent charge; the minimum purchase is $20. Inbound and outbound telephony are included in the $0.08, billed in 6-second increments; the only other charge is $15 a month per phone number. Anything you add yourself, such as a premium voice provider, bills to you directly.
Does Komms handle inbound and outbound calls?
Yes. The campaign type sets the direction, and each campaign has its own number, agent name, company and time zone.
Can the agent transfer to a person?
Yes. Hand off to a set number or one chosen during the call, blind or announced, optionally asking the receiver to press a key to accept, with 1 to 10 attempts and a 5 to 120 second timeout each.
What events can Komms send to my systems?
Answer, end of call, no answer, reschedule, DNC, DNQ, qualified, transferred and transfer busy, each as a webhook with fields mapped to your own keys.
Can the agent call an API mid-call?
Yes. API and script tools run between turns, so the agent can check eligibility, look up a record in your CRM or hit any endpoint, then route the call on what came back. It can also answer caller questions from a knowledge base you load and return to the script where it left off.
What happens when a caller goes off script?
Every turn is checked for intent. Asking for a human, holding, rescheduling, do-not-call requests, abuse and stuck loops are handled by built-in global paths, so you do not build a branch for each.
How does Komms compare to Retell, Bland and Vapi?
Retell publishes $0.07 to $0.31 a minute. Bland pairs $0.12 a minute with a $299 monthly fee, or $0.11 with $499. Vapi lists $0.05 a minute for the platform with speech-to-text, the model and text-to-speech billed separately. Komms is $0.08 a minute all in, with telephony, the model and a standard voice included and no platform fee. The comparison pages show each at 100,000 minutes.
Can I try the agent before buying?
Yes. The Komms page has a live number; the agent that answers is the same one that answers for customers, with no sandbox and no script for you to follow.
