What is pre-ping?
Pre-ping means asking first. Before a lead or a call is sent, a quick check goes out: should this one go through?
Why it matters
Without it, you send everything. Buyers reject what they don’t want, you don’t get paid, and the lead has gone cold.
What a pre-ping can check
- Look the person up in a database.
- Ask the buyer if they already have this person.
- Spot an existing client and send them straight to the team that looks after them.
- All before delivery. It happens before the lead is delivered or the call is connected, and it takes a split second.
