What Kurrent has
- Every SIP line and phone number is a source with its own routing.
- Limits for each source: calls at once, calls per second and SIP invites per minute.
- Calls are screened before they ring: your blacklist, then any validation APIs you choose.
- A pre-ping asks the buyer if it wants the call before you transfer it.
- Webhooks for call events as they happen, plus a full API.
- A call log and raw SIP logs, so you can trace any call end to end.
- Recordings go to your own storage bucket.

The minutes run on your own Telnyx account, at cost, from $0.0032/min inbound local (which requires a Telnyx minimum spend) and $1/number/mo for a number. We add nothing to them.
Total cost, side by side
Take a desk past 200,000 lifetime minutes, running 100,000 minutes a month. On VeloCalls’ carriers that is 100,000 × $0.02/min = $2,000 a month. On your own carrier it is 100,000 × $0.005/min = $500 in platform fees, plus what your carrier bills (our math).
