What Kurrent has
- Every SIP line and phone number is a source with its own routing.
- Limits for each source: calls at once, calls per second and SIP invites per minute.
- Calls are screened before they ring: your blacklist, then any validation APIs you choose.
- A pre-ping asks the buyer if it wants the call before you transfer it.
- Webhooks for call events as they happen, plus a full API.
- A call log and raw SIP logs, so you can trace any call end to end.
- Recordings go to your own storage bucket.
The price is one monthly fee: half the software part of the call-tracking bill you pay now. It is built for teams spending $1,795 a month or more. The minutes run on your own Telnyx account, at cost, from $0.0032/min inbound local and $1/number/mo for a number. We add nothing to them.
All in, against all in
Take a desk with 100,000 local minutes and 100 local numbers a month. On CallRail Lead Tracking that is the $55/mo plan, plus 99,750 minutes past the bundle at $0.06/min = $5,985, plus 95 numbers past the bundle at $3/number/mo = $285. That is about $6,325 a month (our math, from CallRail’s own rates).
On Kurrent, the same minutes and numbers run on your own Telnyx account at cost: 100,000 × $0.0032/min = $320, plus 100 × $1/number/mo = $100. That is $420 for the carriage. Kurrent’s own fee sits on top: half the software part of your bill. We split the bill into software and carriage with you, line by line, in the audit.
Lead Conversion, with call summaries and sentiment, is $165/mo. It moves the plan fee, not the minute rate. At this volume the minutes are most of the bill, so the plan you pick matters less than the meter.
Where CallRail wins
CallRail is cheaper for a small team. If you spend less than $1,795 a month on call tracking, stay on CallRail. Kurrent is not built for you yet.
CallRail is also better at marketing attribution: which ad, keyword or page made the phone ring. Kurrent is built for routing and screening calls, not for ad reporting.
Kurrent has no free trial. We stand up new call infrastructure for each client, on your own carrier account. What we offer instead is a free bill audit and a Free 30 Min Demo on your real volume. We do the setup with you.
