What Kurrent has
- Every SIP line and phone number is a source with its own routing.
- Limits for each source: calls at once, calls per second and SIP invites per minute.
- Calls are screened before they ring: your blacklist, then any validation APIs you choose.
- A pre-ping asks the buyer if it wants the call before you transfer it.
- Webhooks for call events as they happen, plus a full API.
- A call log and raw SIP logs, so you can trace any call end to end.
- Recordings go to your own storage bucket.
The price is one monthly fee: half the software part of the call-tracking bill you pay now. It is built for teams spending $1,795 a month or more. The minutes run on your own Telnyx account, at cost, from $0.0032/min inbound local and $1/number/mo for a number. We add nothing to them.
All in, against all in
Take a desk with 100,000 local minutes and 100 local numbers a month. On CTM Marketing Lite that is the $79/mo plan, plus 100,000 × $0.04/min = $4,000, plus 100 × $2/number/mo = $200. That is about $4,279 a month (our math, from CTM’s own rates).
On Kurrent, the same minutes and numbers run on your own Telnyx account at cost: 100,000 × $0.0032/min = $320, plus 100 × $1/number/mo = $100. That is $420 for the carriage. Kurrent’s own fee sits on top: half the software part of your bill. We split the bill into software and carriage with you, line by line, in the audit.
CTM’s per-minute rate is lower than CallRail’s. But the shape is the same: the plan fee is small, and the minutes are the bill.
Where CallTrackingMetrics wins
CTM is cheaper for a small team. Below $1,795 a month of call-tracking spend, stay on CTM.
CTM gives unlimited users on every plan. It ties calls to Google Ads and GA4, and its plans page lists HIPAA compliance. Kurrent is built for routing and screening calls, not for ad reporting.
Kurrent has no free trial. We stand up new call infrastructure for each client, on your own carrier account. What we offer instead is a free bill audit and a Free 30 Min Demo on your real volume. We do the setup with you.
