HubSpot alternatives in 2026, with every price checked
Updated
HubSpot is a CRM where sales reps keep track of their deals. You pay for each seat, and the Professional plan has a required setup fee. Here are three other CRMs and KontrolX, and how their prices compare.
We checked every price on each company’s own website. One tool on this list is ours: KontrolX. We put it last, and we list its limits too.
HubSpot alternatives at a glance
| Tool | Starts at | How it charges | Setup fee | Price read from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot (today) | $20/seat/mo | Per seat; free plan for 2 users | $1,500 once required for Pro | hubspot.com, 18 October 2026 |
| Salesforce | $25/user/mo | Per user | — | salesforce.com, 18 October 2026 |
| Pipedrive | $24/seat/mo | Per seat | — | pipedrive.com, 18 October 2026 |
| Zoho CRM | $20/user/mo | Per user; free for 3 users | — | zoho.com, 18 October 2026 |
| KontrolX (ours) | $2,500/mo | No seats, no per-lead fee | None | kx21.com, 3 October 2026 |
“Starts at” is the lowest public monthly price, paid monthly. Paying yearly is often cheaper. Each CRM sells bigger plans too, covered below.
How we checked these prices
We read each price on the company’s own pricing page. The table links to that page and shows the day we read it. Where a page shows the yearly price first, we switched it to monthly.
Our site checks every price again at least every 120 days. If a price gets too old, the site will not go live until someone checks it. That rule is in our code, not just a promise.
Some companies do not post prices. When that happens, we say so. We do not guess.
Before you switch: what HubSpot really costs
Sales Hub Starter is $20/seat/mo, paid monthly. Professional is $100/seat/mo, plus $1,500 once for required onboarding. Enterprise starts at $150/seat/mo, plus $3,500 once. Paying yearly costs less.
Each plan also comes with HubSpot Credits for its AI tools. Past those, you buy more.
Count your seats first. Ten Professional seats paid monthly come to $1,000 a month, plus the setup fee (our math).
1. Salesforce: a big CRM, priced per user
Starter Suite is $25/user/mo, billed monthly or yearly. Pro Suite is $100/user/mo, billed yearly. Bigger Sales Cloud plans cost more.
Every plan is priced per user, so the bill grows as your team grows.
2. Pipedrive: a simple deal pipeline, priced per seat
Lite is $24/seat/mo and Growth is $49/seat/mo, billed monthly. Paying yearly costs less. There is a 14-day free trial.
Pipedrive is built around a sales pipeline that reps drag deals through.
3. Zoho CRM: a free plan, then a low price per user
Zoho CRM is free for 3 users. Standard is $20/user/mo and Professional is $35/user/mo, billed monthly. Paying yearly costs less.
4. KontrolX: a record for every lead, with no seats
KontrolX is not a place for reps to work deals. It is where every lead is checked, filled in and sent where it needs to go:
- Every lead gets a lasting record: where it came from, what was done with it, and who was paid.
- Each new lead is checked for repeats, your blacklist and missing fields.
- Details are filled in with your own data vendor accounts, and each lookup’s cost is logged.
- Leads are sent to your team, your buyers, your dialer or your CRM, the way each one wants.
- A full API, webhooks, and 100+ MCP tools to run it from an AI client.
It is 50% off your current bill, with a base rate that starts at $2,500/mo. There are no seats and no per-lead fee.
Limits: for a small sales team, a per-seat CRM will cost less than the KontrolX base rate. You can keep your CRM and let KontrolX send it clean leads.

Salesforce vs. KontrolX for sending leads to buyers
KontrolX pricing:
- 50% off your current lead software bill, with a base rate that starts at $2,500/mo
Updated
Salesforce is a CRM: a place where your own sales team works its leads. KontrolX takes in leads, checks them, fills in missing details and sends each one to the buyer who should get it. Below is what a Salesforce customer has to buy to do the same work, what each piece costs, and the one part Salesforce does not sell at all.
Salesforce vs. KontrolX
| The job | What a Salesforce customer buys | Salesforce price | KontrolX |
|---|---|---|---|
| Take in leads from web forms, files, lead vendors and other systems | Web-to-Lead comes with every edition. Taking leads from other systems needs API access: included in Sales Cloud Core, extra on Pro Suite | $195/user/mo (Core), or $100/user/mo plus $25/user/mo for API access (Pro Suite) | Included |
| Screen leads: duplicates, blocked numbers and emails, your own rules | Duplicate blocking comes with every edition. Block lists and your own rules are built by your admin as automations (Flow): unlimited in Core, 5 for the whole account on Pro Suite | In the edition price above | Included |
| Route each lead by your rules | A routing app from the AppExchange, such as Distribution Engine. It hands leads to people inside your own Salesforce account | from $20/user/mo | Included |
| Fill in missing details from data providers | Each provider’s own Salesforce app, or custom work against the API. You pay the provider | Depends on the provider; not counted here | Included. You connect your own provider accounts and they bill you directly |
| Send leads to outside buyers: post each lead into the buyer’s own system, run ping-post, set buyer caps, track accepts, rejects and returns | Salesforce does not sell this. Its Sales Cloud editions and add-ons page list no product for it, and a search of the AppExchange for “ping post” turned up no app for it | Not available | Included |
| Let an AI assistant run it | Agentforce for Sales, an add-on for Core and up. It is Salesforce’s own AI for sales reps, a different tool, so we left it out of the total | from $125/user/mo | Included: more than 100 MCP tools your AI assistant can use |
| How you pay | Per user, every month, billed yearly | Per user | No seats, no per-lead fee, no tiers |
| A 10-user team, each month | Sales Cloud Core plus Distribution Engine Starter, 10 users each | $2,150/mo (our math), before setup and admin time, and still with no way to send leads to buyers | $2,500/mo: 50% off your current bill, with a base rate that starts at $2,500 a month |
Salesforce prices read from salesforce.com, 18 October 2026 and its add-ons page, salesforce.com, 18 October 2026. Distribution Engine read from its AppExchange listing, appexchange.salesforce.com, 18 October 2026. Salesforce and Distribution Engine bill these prices yearly. KontrolX: kx21.com, 3 October 2026.
What each costs, by team size
Salesforce charges for every user. KontrolX does not. Salesforce Sales Cloud Core plus Distribution Engine Starter comes to $215 per user a month, so where the two prices cross depends on how many people you have.
| Users | Salesforce Core + Distribution Engine | KontrolX |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | $2,150/mo | $2,500/mo (the base rate) |
| 12 | $2,580/mo | $2,500/mo (the base rate) |
| 24 | $5,160/mo | $2,580/mo (half) |
| 50 | $10,750/mo | $5,375/mo (half) |
Our math, from the list prices above, software only. Under 12 users the Salesforce software costs less. It still cannot send leads to outside buyers, and setup and admin time are not counted.
The math for a team of 10
Sales Cloud Core is $195/user/mo, billed yearly. For 10 users that is $1,950 a month. Core is the cheapest edition with API access and unlimited automations included.
Distribution Engine Starter, the first result on the AppExchange for “lead distribution”, is $20/user/mo. For 10 users that is $200 a month.
Together: $2,150 a month, or $25,800 a year (our math).
KontrolX is 50% off your current bill, with a base rate that starts at $2,500 a month. Half of $2,150 is $1,075, which is under the base rate, so you would pay $2,500 a month. For a 10-user team, the Salesforce software costs $350 a month less than KontrolX. That Salesforce setup still cannot post leads to buyers, run ping-post or track returns.
KontrolX does not charge per user, so the gap closes as the team grows. At 12 users the Salesforce setup above is $2,580 a month and KontrolX is still $2,500. At 24 users it is $5,160 a month, and KontrolX is half of that: $2,580.
Pro Suite costs less per user: $100/user/mo plus $25/user/mo for API access. It allows only 5 automations for the whole account, which limits how many screening rules you can build.
What we left out, which makes Salesforce cost more
The $2,150 above is list price for software only. We did not add:
- Setup. Salesforce and its routing apps are set up by your admin or a paid Salesforce partner. We did not price that work. KontrolX has no setup fee; we set it up with you.
- Admin time. Someone has to build and keep up the screening rules, routing rules and connections. That is staff time every month.
- Building buyer delivery yourself. Since Salesforce does not sell it, posting leads to buyers and tracking returns would be custom code you pay to build and maintain.
- Data providers. You pay them on Salesforce and on KontrolX alike, so we left them out of both sides.
- Agentforce for Sales, at $125/user/mo, which we left out because it is a different kind of tool.
Each of these makes the real Salesforce cost higher than the number in the table.
Where Salesforce is the better fit
If your team sells to its own customers and needs a place to track every call, deal and follow-up, that is what Salesforce is built for. KontrolX is not a CRM. It checks each lead, fills in its details and sends it where it needs to go, including to your CRM.
KontrolX is built for businesses that buy and sell leads: lead vendors coming in, buyers going out, and a record of every lead in between. KontrolX has no trial and no self-serve sign-up.
How we checked
We read every Salesforce price on Salesforce’s own pricing page and its add-ons page on 18 October 2026. We read Distribution Engine’s price on its AppExchange listing the same day, and checked it against Distribution Engine’s own pricing page. We searched the AppExchange for “ping post” and “lead distribution” the same day. The routing apps at the top of the “lead distribution” results assign leads to people inside your Salesforce account, and the “ping post” search returned no lead-selling app.
Other routing apps exist. LeanData, for one, does not publish its prices, so we did not use it.
Put your own numbers in the calculator, or read the full pricing. KontrolX is 50% off your current bill, with a base rate that starts at $2,500 a month.
