The Platform Police
Saving your hard-earned money, one client at a time.
The phone rings at headquarters. Someone is paying a software vendor for something absurd — seats nobody uses, minutes that get dearer as they grow, a trial that never ended. The team goes out, asks the one question the bill can't answer, and closes the case with what it costs here instead. Sound on.

What is The Platform Police?
The Platform Police is a short-film series from KX21, Inc., the Las Vegas software company behind Kapture, Komms, KontrolX and Kurrent. Each episode — a case — opens on a real way software vendors overbill: seats nobody uses, per-minute markups on carrier rates, features locked one tier up, free trials that never stop billing. Unit 21 takes the call, reads the bill on camera, and closes the case with the published KX21 price for the same usage.
The bills are dramatized; the prices are not. Every rate quoted comes from the vendor's own published pricing page, read on a stated date, and every case links the math on this site. All eight cases stream here, on YouTube and on Instagram.
Send us your bill
Every case ends the same way. Send last month's invoice and we will show you what the same traffic costs here — or read it yourself, in your browser, without uploading anything.
