Three things boberdoo's own page says

Your tier moves on its own. boberdoo does not let you set a tier and stay there. Its own pricing page states the mechanic plainly: "Your tier auto-adjusts each month based on actual usage — divide your billing-period inbound actions by the days in the period and you land in one of these rows." A desk on the $1,075 tier at 25 average daily actions and a desk on the $11,375 tier at 8,000,000 are on the identical contract; only the traffic differs, and the bill is recalculated every billing period, in arrears, without either desk changing a setting. KontrolX's own pricing page reads: "No plans to pick. No charge per lead. 50% off the bill you pay now, starting at $2,500 a month, for everything KontrolX does."

Using boberdoo's own features can move you up the ladder. boberdoo defines an inbound action as "any incoming ping, post, phone call, API call, or form load entering the system" — and its own usage-add-on list says plainly that "Form Builder submits: count as actions" and "Bid Modifier: count as actions." Turn on Form Builder or Bid Modifier and the traffic those features generate feeds the same total that sets your tier. A form load counts even if nobody buys the lead behind it. So the traffic a feature creates can raise the tier. Outbound actions — what boberdoo sends out to buyers — are the one thing its own FAQ excludes from the count.

LeadQC is a separate charge. LeadQC is optional — boberdoo's own page groups it under "usage add-ons: pay only when you use them... billed by usage, not by seat or month" — so a desk that never turns it on pays only the tier above. But QC exists to be run on real volume, and at real volume that charge is the biggest part. These are two numbers a reader has to supply independently, and this page will not pretend one implies the other: boberdoo's tier is set by inbound actions — pings, posts, calls, API hits and form loads, a broader count than leads — while LeadQC bills by the lead, a narrower and different count, and the ratio between the two varies enormously by business model. Take a desk that happens to run 25,000 average daily inbound actions, which lands it on the $2,175/mo tier, and separately runs 100,000 leads a month through LeadQC: 100,000 × $0.20 = $20,000/mo, against a $2,175 platform tier — nearly ten times the headline ladder. Whatever your own two numbers are, the shape holds: the ladder is on the pricing page, and LeadQC bills by the lead on top of it.

Other things to know

At the top of the ladder, 8,000,000 average daily inbound actions, boberdoo is $11,375 a month. KontrolX is 50% off that: $5,688, or $5,687 less (our math).

At 100,000 average daily inbound actions, boberdoo’s tier is $2,375 a month, $125 under KontrolX’s $2,500 base. On top of the tier, boberdoo charges for LeadQC at $0.20 a lead. On KontrolX, your data vendors bill you directly.

boberdoo is month-to-month with no long-term contract, and every tier, from the $1,075 floor, includes unlimited users. KontrolX is month-to-month, 50% off your bill from a $2,500 base rate, with no seat charge.

boberdoo offers a Ramp-up Promotion: three months of unlimited platform volume for $500 a month, then standard pricing. KontrolX has no trial and no self-serve sign-up.

Questions

How much does boberdoo cost?

boberdoo prices its lead platform on a 23-row ladder set by average daily inbound actions, from $1,075/mo at 25/day to $11,375/mo at 8,000,000/day, plus a one-time $250 setup fee. Higher volume is a custom quote. LeadQC, an optional lead-quality check, is billed separately at $0.20 per lead. KontrolX is 50% off your current lead software bill, from a $2,500/mo base rate, with no per-lead fee and no seat charge.

How much can I save switching from boberdoo to KontrolX?

It depends on your tier. On boberdoo’s top published tier, $11,375/mo, KontrolX is half: about $5,688 a month. Below a $5,000 bill KontrolX is its $2,500/mo base rate, so boberdoo tiers under $2,500 cost less than KontrolX.

Does boberdoo's price change automatically?

Yes. boberdoo's own pricing page states: "Your tier auto-adjusts each month based on actual usage — divide your billing-period inbound actions by the days in the period and you land in one of these rows." A buyer does not set the tier; traffic sets it, recalculated every billing period and billed in arrears. KontrolX is 50% off your current lead software bill, from a $2,500/mo base rate, with no per-lead fee and no seat charge.

Do boberdoo's own features raise your bill?

They can. boberdoo counts "any incoming ping, post, API call, phone call, or form load" as an inbound action, and its usage add-ons list states plainly that Form Builder submits and Bid Modifier calls "count as actions." Since actions set the tier, using those features can push a buyer into a higher tier — paying for the feature and for the tier increase it causes. KontrolX is 50% off your current lead software bill, from a $2,500/mo base rate, with no per-lead fee and no seat charge.

What does KontrolX cost compared to boberdoo?

KontrolX is 50% off your current bill for the whole platform, with a base rate from $2,500. There are no tiers and no per-lead charge. A buyer sends their current bill and KX21 shows the math against it.

How does boberdoo's price compare to KontrolX?

boberdoo's floor is $1,075 a month at 25 average daily actions, less than half of KontrolX's $2,500 base rate. boberdoo is month-to-month with unlimited users at every tier, and offers a Ramp-up Promotion of three months of unlimited volume for $500/mo. KontrolX is month-to-month at 50% off your current bill, from a $2,500 base rate, with no seat charge and no trial.

Is boberdoo's LeadQC required?

No. LeadQC is an optional usage add-on at $0.20 per lead, billed by usage rather than bundled into the tier fee. A buyer who does not turn it on pays only the tier price; a buyer who does pays $0.20 for each lead checked, on top of the tier. KontrolX is 50% off your current lead software bill, from a $2,500/mo base rate, with no per-lead fee and no seat charge.
